Wow, we're just 2 weeks away from our
Sweet & Savoury Long Table
on this * little * farm.

While we've been doing our best to remind everyone via FB, we realize that not everyone is there ... and I apologise for not telling you more sooner. But there is soooo much going on behind the scenes. Not actually a lot that I can tell you about, but trust me it is all GOOD.

Several people have written to say they can't come but are really bummed about not getting to taste all the yummies we are preparing.

So here I am to tell you there IS a way to participate, taste and support our event even if you can't actually be there on Sunday afternoon.

You can order your Sweet & Savoury box TO GO!!!

How do you order?

Just send us an email ( family {dot} goldschmidt {at} icloud {dot} com ) to let us know how many boxes you'd like and when you'd prefer to pick them up. We are available almost any time after 12noon from Friday to Monday. 

The cost is 20€ per box and will include 

at least 10 sweet and savoury eats of the day.

How do you pay?

Follow your email up with a bank transfer to our account. Goldschmidt, BE82 9730 7775 8668, BIC ARSPBE22. In the reference field please enter ORDER followed by your family name. Your order and confirmation of your pickup time will be confirmed via return email.

We're not waiting until the Sweet & Savoury to 

get started on renovations!!! 

No way josé, I cannot wait to get this ball rolling ...

 

The first task is to empty the space, including a 

big stack of roof tiles.

Would you like to help us?? 

We'd be oh-so-grateful for all the manpower we can get.

All helpers will be thoroughly fed and watered of course!! 

We are available the next two weekends (August 15, 16, 22 & 23) if any of you can stop by we would be eternally grateful.

so we're sure to have yummies and drinks on hand.

On the Farm

This summer we started opening the farm one Saturday per month for friends, friends of friends and their friends and families to come picnic on the grounds. Our 4th of July weekend was the best ever, reminding me of my own childhood, fun times spent on a lake with a special family.

We also began a German-speaking toddler group which meets monthly.

In July, during the 2 week break for most daycares, we organized a farm animal summer camp. We had soooo much fun. Each day the children went home with a different piece of artwork.

 

We hope to offer more of these activities and by renovating the barn they will not have to be weather dependent.

this * little * farm

It's been almost two years since we moved to this * little * farm. With several truckloads of belongings, a six month old baby and dreams to last three lifetimes.

Our first year here was spent getting to know the grounds and watching Finn grow leaps and bounds.

This year we have really hunkered down ... expanding with animals, plantings and happenings.

The farm is now home to:

• two cats
• two goldfish
• two mini goats
• two mini sheep
• a mini hen and her six chicks
• and the three of us !

  

We are still trying to get a handle on the grounds and recognize this will be a never-ending task joy ... Last year we added a border of lavender along the entry and this year a bed of lillies and crocosmia.  I keep saying "next year" ... we will get the vegetable garden started.

Please Reserve

Please make your reservation before August 31^st by sending us an email with the number of adults and children (including their ages) in your group. Please remember children from 4-12 years are only 10€, under 4 years are free.

Follow this up with a bank transfer to our account (see details below and please reference your family name) and your reservation will be confirmed via return email.

Should you need to cancel, please do so by September 6^th for a full refund.

Due to the nature of the event, we will be unable to refund any cancellations received on September 7^th or after. You are welcome to pass on your spaces to a friend or relative. Please do send us an email so we are aware that somebody else is coming in your place. their friends – the more the merrier.
